A Pool Company Built the Way We'd Want One
This is the single most valuable paragraph on the page and the one thing no competitor and no other page on your site can copy. Write 3 to 5 sentences in your own voice on why you actually started Nearby Pool Service: what you saw in the Las Vegas pool industry, the moment or frustration that made you want to do it differently, and what you set out to build. Specific beats polished. Mention real details (a previous job, a bad experience as a customer, the year, the first accounts) if you have them. Delete this dashed box once your story is in.
What we can tell you is the standard we hold. We are not a franchise and not a volume route. We are a small Las Vegas team that treats every pool like it belongs to us, because the only way we know how to keep customers for years is to earn the next week, every week.
Las Vegas is a genuinely demanding place to keep a pool. Extreme UV, hard fill water that pushes calcium hardness into the 200 to 250 ppm range and climbs higher as water evaporates, evaporation of up to half an inch per day in peak summer, and year-round operation all create chemistry problems that national guides and manufacturer defaults simply don't account for. Knowing what these conditions do to plaster, equipment, and water balance, and managing around them before they become visible, is the difference between a pool that holds steady and one that's always chasing the last problem.
That is the expertise we built the company around, and it is why customers who have been burned by the spray-and-pray approach tend to stay with us once they switch.
Treat every pool like it's our own.

The Same Faces, Every Visit
When you call Nearby Pool Service, you are not reaching a call center. You are reaching the three owners who run the business and service the pools. We all have skin in the game on every account, because we all own the company. Here is who you are working with.
Roles now read as co-owners for all three of you. Add one real human line to each person (years in the trade, what they're known for, a hometown, anything genuine) so these read like people and not titles. If you have headshots, swap the lettered circles for photos later. Then delete this box.
Co-owns Nearby Pool Service and holds the company's Nevada State Contractor License (#0091918). Services pools alongside Derek and is the team's primary repair specialist, handling equipment diagnostics and the harder fixes that keep a pool running. A licensed owner is always accountable for the work, which is exactly the point.
The technician you'll see at your pool each week, and usually the voice on the other end of the phone. CPO certified and trained on both major equipment lines, Derek handles weekly service, testing, and balancing, and is your first point of contact when you call or text.
CPO certified and a former field tech herself, Christina serviced pools alongside Justin in the early years before the two of them started a family and she moved to the accounting side. She now runs billing, invoicing, and account records, with the hands-on background to actually understand the work she's billing for.
Licensed, Certified, and Accountable
In Nevada, pool service contractors are licensed by the Nevada State Contractors Board. A license requires demonstrated experience, a passed trade examination, proof of insurance, and bonding. It is the baseline of accountability that separates legitimate contractors from unlicensed operators, and ours goes further with professional and manufacturer certifications.
